Well hello there, it’s been a minute hasn’t it? With going back to school, not actually living at home during the week, and our first time fixer upper, I haven’t had much time to dedicate to my blog. It makes me oh so happy to be sitting here writing this post and listening to my favorite Spotify channel. I have missed this little virtual space I created. I really do love it and hope you do it!
This last year my life has changed a lot and with that so has my style! I am finding my creative myself all over again… like who is this new person who is embracing black decor?! Guys, everything in our fixer upper isn’t going to be white!!! You are all free to gasp…but seriously my style has changed! Maybe it’s because I now have less time, so with that I want less stuff and less white stuff? Let’s roll with that for now.
Crazy enough I haven’t actually decorated for Christmas… I know, I know you’re thinking Jill why are you telling us what decor to buy when you aren’t even decorating your house for Christmas?! Okay, so here is the reason. Other than the no time thing and not actually being home, we are on the down hill slope of our fixer upper. YAY! All we really have left to do is finish laying the Hearthwood flooring, finish the bathroom, put in sinks and faucets, and hang trim and doors! LOL that sounds like a lot now! So there is a TINY possibly that we could move into the house before Christmas. I really didn’t want to repack all the Christmas decor that I put up to then have to pack and unpack it again! So I’m getting my Christmas decor fix through this post! Below I shared minimalistic farmhouse Christmas decor you’ll want this year.

Give me all the wreaths! Seriously I have a problem, ask my sister in law. She gives me so much crap, I have a wreath around every corner! Wouldn’t it be adorable on a plate with a bowl in the center and a pine cone name tag?!
Festive Gold Christmas trees:
This is a crazy good deal, you get 42 of them for $15.99. I know, I know you don’t need 42 but who cares, give some to friends, family, neighbors, the lady at the grocery store! Who cares they are a steal! I’m going to get them even if I don’t decorate this year!
Plaid Pillows:
I’ve shared these plaid pillows before and I am sharing them again! They come in so many different colors and add a festive pattern to your home!
Farm Fresh Christmas Tree Pillow:
Seriously just give me all the pillows! Yep, I have a wreath and pillow addiction! I love anything that says “farm fresh”, so I was sold on this little guy.
Christmas Tins:
Place these at your front door with a plaid door mat, birch logs, greens, and lights… enough said.
White Plaid blanket:
I know, I know you’re thinking “Jill, you said you were done with all white.” Yes, yes I get it but seriously you can only have so much red Christmas decor. You need to have some neutrals so it doesn’t look like a Christmas crime scene!
Christmas Garland:
Give me all the Garland! I am sold on anything with mini pine cones, they are just so cute!!
White Word Christmas Ornaments:
Again, sometimes you have to brake up all the red with a neutral. I love how these Rae Dunn inspired Christmas ornaments add a handmade feel.
Black Lantern Set:
This set is very affordable! I love the modern shape and how simple they are!
