Hey Friends! The Holidays are approaching fast, there is so much to do and so little time! Hosting during the holidays can be stressful, that’s why I wanted to share some of my favorite ways to transform your home in time for the holidays. For me, my main goal is to make everyone feel comfortable. I like to always have a Balsam Fir candle burning and tons of blankets and pillows! Below, I listed items that would be helpful to transform your house in time for the holidays. I hope you enjoy this post and have a Merry Christmas!
Pillows are great to have laying around during the holiday. Naps are a must on Christmas, so you can never have too many pillows! |
Blankets are like pillows, you can never have too many. Run one along the back of your couch or on a dinning room chair to add a festive touch. |
I love adding pillows to dinning room chairs, they come in handle for little one who want to use a big chair or grandparent who need a little extra support. |
Trade out one of your wall hangings for a festive pieces of art. It can transform your space without a lot of work. |
Greens are an easy way to add a pop of color, try adding them around candles, windows, or a mantle. |
Juniper is by far my favorite type of greenery! There are tons of ways to use a wreath other than hanging on a door. Use a wreath as your centerpiece with candles in the middle or on the back of your dinning chairs to change things up! |
This may be a random item, but you will thank me later. I don’t know about your family, but we end up eating and drinking a lot in the living room over the holidays. Coffee trays are great for balancing snacks and drinks on ottomans. |
Add Christmas china to your table setting and make memories for your little ones. My mom’s Christmas china is near and dear to my heart. I loved getting to use it as a child on Christmas, it’s a family tradition that I still cherish. |
With all the pops of red and green, its nice to have some subtle Christmas decor. These whitewash trees would look great on a mantle and you could leave them up during all the winter months! |
Candle sticks are great to add to a table center piece or a mantle. Mix them with some greens and your are good to go! |
Pre- lit garland all the way! Is it really Christmas without garland and lights? Add garland and candle sticks to your table for a simple holiday centerpiece. |
Spice up your holiday table setting with these adorable red striped napkins! Center them on plates with name tags or pine cones to add something special to you table setting. |
I love that this table runner has a similar pattern to the napkins but they aren’t too matchy. It’s always fun to mix and match! |
Everyone needs festive serving saucers, especially for leaving cookies out for Santa! |
This is one of my favorite candles scents. Balsam & Fir is just a great holiday smell without being too over powering. |
